For vehicles where the distance between the rear doors and the trailer coupling is relatively large, a reducer is available.
The standard depth of the Carbolt 100 is 80mm, measured from the centre of the tow ball towards the rear doors.
When the reducer is installed, the depth increases to a total of 140 MM.
The rubber buffer strip ensures that the door is not damaged when the door is opened while the trailer hitch lock is still installed.
Please note that the reducer is supplied without the Carbolt 100 tow bar lock. This must be ordered separately.
